This is in regards to establishing a CVS on the corner of Killian Hill and Arcado. There was a meeting a couple weeks ago, hundreds showed up, but the vote was tabled until this month. The lawyer for the builder says it WILL happen. I hope not! We don’t need another place to buy medicine and sodas! Especially not on that corner.

From Nancy Kenny, Nantucket Resident and former Planning Commission member:

I think it well said and puts an exclamation point to the need for all of us to stay watchful.

“I spoke with Lilburn’s planner and he had met with the applicants regarding the rezoning. I asked what they were changing and he said they were adding some walks and benches plus trees to make the project more green and more user friendly. The CVS will stay as it is the “most important part of the project” and the huge reduction in buffers also will have to stay as without them the whole thing is not workable. I am never for reducing buffers between differing zonings so would definitely not have voted for this when I was on the Planning Commission. We must show up and voice our opposition”.
