Gwinnett County had projected stadium parking revenue to surpass the $200,000 mark, but only received $31,000 for the entire 2009 baseball season, a $169,000 shortfall for the inaugural season.

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners has called off their annual retreat to Young Harris citing scheduling issues.
The “planning” retreat for the commissioners and other county staffers has been an annual affair for more than a decade costing taxpayers upwards of $15,000 for the two night excursion.

Yesterday’s (November 23, 2009) public hearing on the Gwinnett County proposed millage rate hike plan drew a collective 450 residents with the morning session drawing approximately 150 and the evening session drawing approximately 300.
